midnight serenade.

If a Hastings has a shot, she takes the shot.

stakes and bloodlines.

can i just say that i called the whole “kill one original, you kill the entire bloodline” plot twist? i mean, it’s pretty common sense.

that being said, i really hate the position elena & co. are taking in this entire dilemma. they’re basically putting it upon themselves to play god, not only with the originals, but with the entire vampire race. sure, the only person finn turned was sage, so there weren’t many repercussions. the guy was only alive for a hundred years and he was never into his vampirism in the first place.

but what about elijah and klaus and kol and rebekah? they’ve all been around longer; who knows how many people they’ve turned, and how many people those vampires turned, etc. there is more at stake here than just stefan, damon, caroline, abby, and tyler. what gives them the right to potentially kill off hundreds of vampires? stefan and the others can’t be presumptuous enough to say that they’re the only vampires who, up to a certain point, respect human life. i would say there were dozens more. those other vampires are stefans and damons and carolines and abbys to other people. what right does the scooby gang have to just decide their fates? it just makes them seem really selfish, tbh. like, helloooo. mystic falls isn’t the only town in the world with vampires, and the salvatores aren’t the only vampires in existence!
